An interactive way of teaching children how to improve and extend a simple sentence. Students use language resources adverbs, adjectives, adding ing or ed verbs, subordinate clauses, describing when/where/why to improve and extend their writing. I’ve taken advantage of the excellent resources uploaded by fruitrach(extending sentences - fruitrach) and adapted them to use with the The Hat - a sorting program available from Harmony Hollow - see link in Instructions document.
