A three stanza poem about what children could do during the summer holidays. It also includes a writing frame for children who may need extra support writing their own version. Higher ability children may try writing their own following the same structure but without a writing frame. Features could be analysed first such as repetition, verse structure, alliteration, adverbs, adjectives, punctuation, poet, questions, exaggeration, light-hearted tone and powerful vocabulary. There is also a metaphor with eyes going 'square'.
