Industrial Revolution: Coal Mining

This excellent resource looks at the history of coal mining in Britain during the 18th and 19th centuries. It focuses on several themes including the problems that the miners faced, the solutions that they came up with and the impact of the steam engine on revolutionising the coal industry.
