Infant baptism

A full KS3 lesson on Christian initiation, infant baptism or christening. This power point resource includes attractive images and a range of activities including a memory starter task, information gathering, a link to a video with questions and a true or false plenary. The lesson covers the main features of infant baptism such as the font, oil and candle and why infant baptism is an important initiation ceremony. The resources such as information sheets to print out and pupil fill in sheet are included in the power point. There are two versions of the pupil fill in sheet to provide choice and differentiation. This lesson would fit well within a scheme of work on Christianity or a scheme of work on joining or initiation ceremonies.
