What do you think about this resource? (optional)
Thank you for making this resource. I have adapted it to fit my year one class but it has saved me starting from scratch. In response to the previous review: The Paschal candle is a large, candle used at liturgy in the Western Rites of Christianity (Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, etc.). A new Paschal candle is blessed and lit every year at Easter, and is used throughout the Paschal season which is during Easter and then throughout the year on special occasions, such as baptisms and funerals. The child being baptised is given a small candle lit from the Paschal candle, not the Paschal candle itself so I think you original information was correct.
A good solid lesson on baptism. I think it is important though to use some of the key specialist words such as the paschal candle - rather than just a lit candle in order to encourage students to use more specialist vocabulary in preparation for GCSE. There is an excellent online resource link as well. Thanks for this.
