Inference Riddle Monsters

Teach your students to read between the lines with this fun, no-prep introduction to INFERENCES for grades 6-10. In this game, students will learn what an inference is, and practice making predictions in 66 mini riddle challenges!

Focusing on problem-solving and interpreting clues, students will interact with friendly monsters and score points for reading between the lines and making connections between different clues. Students must decide whether to make a guess (for more points) or collect more evidence to form a more accurate prediction.

Because the game is broken up into mini sessions, you can use it as a complete lesson (30-60 minutes) or as a quick reward for a fast-finisher. Because of this flexibility, this resource is also a perfect tool for the substitute teacher’s toolkit!

The game comes with 3 different difficulty modes built-in, so you can easily differentiate for your students and ensure they get the appropriate level of challenge. It’s also browser-based and auto-grading which means it will work on any device and perfect for distance learning or home school - simply send your students a link and pin to get them started straight away.
