Informative/ Explanatory Writing (RAFTS)

RAFTS is a strategy utilized in writing and reading to better assist students in understand the role of a writer, the audience, varied formats for writing, and the topic they'll be reading and then writing about. This strategy inspires students to write more creatively, and use critical thinking skills in order to experience writing from different audiences. A greater meaning of this strategy enhances understanding of informational text.
