This resource consists of the blank design question using the Insect Theme, a mark scheme for the students to either self assess or peer assess and a vocabulary sheet to help them.
I have left the mood board part blank as my students make their own but very easy to copy and paste images or a whole mood board from another author if needed.
I used this year in and year out but adapt it to the exam theme.
I also draw examples and put them on the board and get the students to mark my design question work as a starter. Usually teach this over 1-2 hours depending on the ability of the class.
As stated in my other resources, I have 11 years experience of teaching this course and I have been a moderator for AQA.
