This resource pack was created for a Head of English interview to a year 5 class based on suspense writing. The hooks include a range of multi-media including short video clips, still photographs from the film ‘Adrift’ and an extract from the book Kensukie’s Kingdom. This pack includes a detailed lesson plan (which explains clearly how to scaffold learning and model writing), smartboard slides (including child appropriate video links), inspiring pictures, a success criteria, dyslexic word bank (with pictures) and a writing frame.
