I'm very sorry that you feel this way, there is information on the genre, style, themes and conventions included. Then there are links to research where students can find the social, cultural and historical context. The lesson is designed to give the students enough information to get started and then enable them to research and make decisions on the play for themselves. The 2nd lesson of this scheme goes into more detail on intention and why Placey wrote the play, which I am happy to send you for free if you get in touch. <br />
