I print off the structures of the first 5 hydrocarbons and put them in envelopes. \nI have piles of the questions at the front of the room in order (the first being the envelope of hydrocarbons). Pupils must complete the answer sheet by answering the questions/following the hints in a relay style fashion (pairs/ groups). I usually check pupils' answers before they are allowed to take the next one. This is very much a sit at the front and do very little activity.
