A set of 3 lessons to introduce sequences to low ability classes.
The first lesson gets students generating terms from a rule with a worksheet, finding missing terms and finding a term-to-term rule.
The second lesson gets students looking at generating terms when given the nth term (or position-to-term) rule, as well as finding a given term in the sequence.
The third lesson slowly introduces finding the nth term rule of a sequence. This lesson is a little different as it includes lots of short timed examples with similar practise questions, and the main task involves asking students what they predict the answer is going to be (based on what they already know and the previous examples), before working out the answer.
