This is a plan and resources for a beginner’s Italian lesson to use with KS2. It involves children learning the vocabulary for different pets in Italian. The plan could be used for an individual lesson, or as part of an ‘All About Me’ unit.
The plan gives details of a whole class starter, an introduction to the vocabulary, a whole class writing activity, a speaking and listening activity, a reading activity and a plenary. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills.
