This is a scheme centred on Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. This has been used with Mid-High ability KS3 and lower to mid KS4 students and covers a wide range of themes in each of the chapters of the story.
Each lesson contains developed learning objectives and key word foci, as well as a starter activity. Periodical homework tasks, assessment tasks and exam style questions are included.
You can either teach this with or without the text, but I have taught this alongside the text, which means this scheme can last between 6-10 1 hour lessons.
Lessons can also be easily differentiated if needed and assessment / exam style tasks can be easily changed if needed.
This scheme works best with KS3 (Year 8-9) learners and lower level KS4 (Year 10) students.
