This is one part of three resources called Just Know It Geography designed and produced by curiouslearners.co.uk with the aim of helping teachers cement the locational knowledge aspect of the geography curriculum. Locational knowledge, such as remembering the names and location of cities, countries, rivers etc is incredibly difficult to teach because it relies on over learning which we just don’t have time for in our classes.
At this time, where children remembering their learning is so crucial, Just Know It Geography is a perfect set of resources. This resource has been used in schools where children’s retention of locational knowledge has been praised by external professionals.
