A selection of verbs that can be transfered to all of the themes that are part of the new French GCSE.
I used the idea of Victoria Beckham (VB) who was famous so used to be followed by paparazzi (PAP) due to her fame (FAME). I also used a special spelling of Rap (RAAP) for the special* verbs which all have suis as their special auxiliary.
Students found it silly but could all write it out and use these key verbs in both their writing and their speaking with a great level of accuracy!
