King John and the Magna Carta: Work from home booklet

Work booklet designed for completion by student independently. Covers two lessons/one long lesson worth of work (8 pages)

Aimed at Year 7 students who have looked at the feudal system and lower ability year 8 students.

Covers King John and the background to the Magna Carta, the clauses put to the king and the effects of the document. Includes various level 3 (describe), level 4(explain) and level 5 (evaluate) questions, including an extended writing piece encouraging use of the PEE paragraph. A3 version of main activity also included to aid differentiation.

Can be used as a copy and paste into a online classroom or can be printed to be done at home (lines included).
