KS1: Christmas - Identify 3D shapes on a shape hunt to make reindeer food.

This resource is perfect for a Christmas filler that revisits 3D shapes.
Use the IWB as a starter task then allow the children to go on a shape hunt around the classroom to collect all resources needed to make reindeer food for Father Christmas.

Extra resources needed to complete this activity are:

• classroom 3D shapes
  -small plastic /paper bags - I use the cheap triangular icing bag as they are manageable and look very cute.
  -oats
  -glitter
  -ribbon or pipe cleaner
  -label (INCLUDED in this resource)

This resource includes the instructions to follow which have the diagraphs highlighted to promote independent reading and shapes visable to promote inclusion for all abilities, the label to cut out to attach to the bag and a sign for each table.
It includes instructional language and time openers to revisit some basic KS1 - year one objectives.
