This resource was created to use with a Y1 class when looking at imperative verbs. It has been differentiated with a traffic light system. Green and Amber allow the children to read the sentences, identify the imperative verbs and copy write them into the piggy bank to create a bank of verbs for use in a later activity. Red allows the children to use imperative verbs and write them in a sentence as well as adding their own.
