KS2 Ancient Egypt, Reading Task and comprehensions with Topic Vocabulary cards

Includes a 2 page reading task introducing Ancient Egypt; Mummification, What is the afterlife? Canopic Jars etc.
There is a slightly easier reading comprehension; Retrieval questions, word meanings and sequencing.
A slightly harder reading comprehension; Retrieval questions, word meanings and explaining/justifying with text evidence.
Children could do one or both according to age and ability. Have also included a word search, 20 topic related vocabulary cards and some activity cards that encourage children to quickly scan the text and find the evidence.
For ages 7-11.
