KS2 Christmas Creative Writing Fun Task Persuasive Job Advert for a New Elf

This is a fun end-of-term creative writing task which leads children through writing a job advert for a new Christmas Elf. Includes quick analysis of an example text for a new Personal Assistant for Father Christmas and then guides children step by step to write a job advert. Includes examples of humour, persuasion, subheadings, bullet points and rhetorical questions. Lots of opportunities for children to get creative and have fun with various duties, skills and perks of the job. Had lots of success using this with year 6 but would suit all of KS2. Easily adapted to other professions/book characters as follow on tasks - previously led to ‘New Superhero required’ for example. I hope it’s useful and saves some time.
