This is a poem I have adapted from Robert McGough's The Sound Collector - it is intended to be used for Year 4 as a model of excellence to inspire children to write their own poems. It includes fronted adverbials, modifying adjectives and will cover the reading objective for reciting poetry. I hope you like it!
