B and D Publishing’s KS2 English Skills Revision consists of two workpacks containing work on a variety of language topics designed to meet much of the criteria required for the KS2 National Curriculum Test Paper 1: English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Both packs are intended for revision and consolidation of these topics for pupils working at levels 3-5. The worksheets in these packs are also suitable for home learning. NOTE: In this approach to English grammar at KS2 we have followed closely the model of grammar adopted by the English National Curriculum. Also included is B & D Publishing’s KS2 English Reading and Responding, which provides exercises to help prepare pupils for the national curriculum English reading test. On the topic of The Sea, the scheme provides passages of factual writing, poetry and prose followed by questions on the texts to test pupils’ comprehension.
