Big Book:
An illustrated story in French about a visit to the farm.
Beautiful graphics and font on A4 pages.
Simple sentences, structure repeated throughout - 'A la ferme, je vais voir une vache.' (Next page) 'J'adore les vaches.'

Wall words/mini flashcards

Self correcting match up- words with pictures. (each word/image has a special edge which is unique to its corresponding word/image)

'Read it, colour it, trace it, write it' printable worksheets

Labelling activity (with appropriately sized and shaped box per letter next to each picture for support)

Board Game (no dice needed). Pupils say the name of the animal to move forward. If the can place it in a sentence they can move forward another space.

Mini books- 2 versions (word level and sentence level)
