A detailed and funny set of instructions showing how to catch a Giant. This model text shows children all the writing features that they should be using in their writing when writing instructions and also includes an annotated/colour coded version of the text showing all the different writing features that have been used. When used in lessons, the children enjoyed the funny aspect to the instructions and internalised the writing features, which consequently helped them write their own set of instructions.
