Below is a 12 x 12 grid. Above each column are fractions which the students must shade in using the grid. However, to the right of each row is also a fraction, students must use their cunning to ensure that all columns and rows satisfy their respective fractions! There are also some blank fractions for students to fill in.
Potential Extension: You may wish that the fractions that students fill in be ‘unit fractions’, or perhaps they all have to be different from the other unfilled fractions - it’s versatile.
