Adding up a Shopping List. Students use the grocery price list to add up shopping lists. Can be used as a starter activity for adding decimals or as a main activity for adding up money.
Students could use the list, be given a total and asked what they would buy in a weekly shop!

I used for estimation purposes - got them to esimate the bill, then add up exactly. Then used subtraction -what was the difference between the real amount and their estimate. Thanks - this was exactly what I needed!! :D
