This is a simple and straightforward powerpoint with the aim to use kennings to write a poem about the Minotaur. There is a brief reading activity (public domain text) with some context. A couple of images (public domain) are used to help visualise the setting and the Minotaur. Created as a cover activity for a mixed ability class at KS3 but would also work well as part of a unit on myths and legends for KS2.
