KS2 Maths Fluency Codebreaker Starter Activities

Maths fluency codebreaker activities for lesson starters or morning tasks. 14 different editable codebreaker task sheets with answer sheets included. Recommended for UKS2 or higher ability Y3/4 children. Created to develop children’s Maths fluency as well as their knowledge and understanding of key Maths vocabulary. These tasks work through a series of calculations involving multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, fractions and negative numbers, as well as square and cube numbers. Once the calculations have been completed, each answer matches a corresponding letter in the code breaker grid. The letters must then be rearranged to spell out key Maths vocabulary words.
