The 2014 national curriculum will be assessed for the first time in May 2016. These unofficial practice tests and mark schemes have been written by experienced assessment experts, according to the specification set out in the Key Stage 2 mathematics test framework, published by the Department for Education.
This resource contains 1 photocopiable test (Paper 1: arithmetic) and associated mark scheme.
Paper 2 and Paper 3 are available as separate test packs.
The test paper is presented in the same format and style as students will experience when sitting the 2016 KS2 national assessments. The mark scheme contains detailed guidance on how to mark candidate responses to the standard required as indicated by the DfE. Content domains for each question are also referenced.
