KS2 reading training and progression

This resource contains a ready made KS2 reading skills training presentation, alongside a skills progression document for KS2 reading skills. The presentation refers to the skills progression document but also looks at how reading skills should best be taught at KS2 as well as some ideas for methods to teach the reading skills. The skills progression document sets out 7 key skills for children to be able to do in order to be successful at KS2 in reading. It includes example texts and questions, including the ways these should be answered for all of these key reading skills.
