KS2 Writing Challenges (18 challenges plus 16 x '100-word' challenges on different topics)

A variety of writing challenges suitable for KS2 (Y3-6) to be accessed either independently or used in whole class/ group teaching. Word docs or PDFs and challenges are also on the PowerPoint presentation (except for write 100 words grids). Activities could be printed and laminated for a challenge table/ area.

Activities include:
4 x improving description tasks
4 x descriptive writing challenges
6 x instructional writing tasks
4 x eight-sentence story tasks
16 x write 100 words challenges on a variety of topics (including topics encouraging higher-level thinking) to help children to edit their work and write concisely
2 x 100 word challenge editable templates (grid and lined)
1 x ppt presentation including the above (except the write 100-word challenges)
