Here is an entire scheme of work on colour theory and painting. The scheme of work is last 8-10 lessons and will begin to build the foundations for all 4 GCSE assessment objectives. It includes understanding of colour theory, drawing, painting and artist research. The project is linked to the work of Maria Ryan and students love creating their own paintings of their chosen pets/animals. It also allows them to begin to develop basic photo editing skills. Ideal for Y7-8.
