KS3 - English - Documentary Comprehension Lesson - Non-Fiction - Watch and respond
This lesson works really well as an additional lesson linked to my ‘Weird and Wonderful’ or ‘Around the World’ schemes or as a stand alone lesson. The idea is that students watch the documentary as their text and listen for the evidence in order to fully respond to the 10 questions.
The questions are all retrieval questions apart from question 10 in which students use what they have learned in the documentary to answer an opinion question.
