This booklet is based upon a Knowledge Rich curriculum in KS3 Drama. It is an introduction to Drama Techniques and could easily be used in English or Extra Curricular sessions.
The booklet contains 12 lessons in total and works towards a performance at the end of the unit. The theme of the lesson is Evacuation in WW2 but this could easily be adapted.
The booklet gives students the opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding at the beginning of each lesson, update their knowledge and then do a mid lesson review. Each review should only be 5 minutes in length.
The booklet is accompanied by 12 Powerpoint presentations to be used alongside and contains all the answers to the starter and 5 minute check up’s. The explanation of how to deliver the practical tasks can be found on the powerpoints.
