This resource is a lesson aimed at teaching KS3 Physics, Current and Electricity.

This lesson looks at Circuits and Current, what current is and how we observe it in science.

This lesson has 4 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:

*I can Identify some common components of an electrical circuit

*I can Identify the symbol and unit for current (A)

*I can describe how to correctly connect an ammeter to a circuit

*I can explain the difference and reason for the flow of current and the flow of electrons

This lesson is designed challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students.
