KS3 Poetry - Character and Voice in Poetry

Eight week unit of work which considers the idea of character within poems. There is a small module of work and a small collection of poems which can be used over the course of a term.

All of the key aspects of how to analyse a poem are considered. There is an entire week dedicated to the idea of structure within poetry and how to write about the structure of a poem within assessed responses. The poems in the collection are as follows:
