KS3 Year 9 Drama Assessment Booklet

Selling a 50+ paged booklet for Year 9 Drama. It includes activities, progress questions ideal for mid term assessments and also the end of unit assessment grid for each module, based on Emerging, Developing, Securing and Mastering. It has references to stage types, different styles of theatre and also practitioners such as Berkoff, Brecht, Boal, DV8 etc.

It covers the following units:

Unit 1 Intro to Practitioners
Unit 2 Physical Theatre - Fame and Celebrities
Unit 3 Clowning
Unit 4 Evaluation of a live performance
Unit 5 Set Design
Unit 6 Introduction to Blood Brothers

The booklet has space for students to use it like a working journal, documenting their ideas, covering key terms, including lesson based activities and other reflective questions.

The aim is for the booklet to be printed at the beginning of the year and for the students to write everything for every lesson. Then, it is a clear way of documenting progress from September all the way up to the end of the school year.

Obviously, the units can be edited and modified and the activities can be changed depending on what modules you teach.

It also includes a knowledge organiser and all of the resources for students to complete their set design and shoebox set design planning.
