This was initially designed for Year 9 students in preparation for a GCSE in Geography but can easily be used with other year groups. This SOW is complete with fully resourced lessons, assessments, further reading and ideas for building in cultural capital to the curriculum.

This lesson focuses on healthcare inequality in Africa.
The objectives of the lesson are:
- Describe disease spread in Africa.
- Compare healthcare in LIC’s and HIC’s.
- Explain the social and economic impacts of poor health.
