Language and Literature mind map poster

Here’s a poster for students studying language and literature. It succinctly covers 5 language styles - aesthetic, narrative, persuasive, argumentative, informative - as well as poetry, fiction and drama. The poster contains useful verbs, adjectives and vocabulary useful for reacting to language, writing and performance.

It can printed as a visual display in the classroom, or as a useful general guide for students which they can keep in their folders.

I use this with Leaving Cert English students (Irish curriculum) when introducing them to the course early in 5th year).
