A game to encourage discussion with an adult or peer. The game has a Minecraft inspired theme to hook their interest.
Are you supporting children with developmental language delay? This is a quick and fun game to focus on words used to group items or categories. It uses the phrase ‘type of’.

Also ideal for naming some everyday objects and animals. To extend the game, ask the player to think of another item that would fit that category. “Can you think of another type of…”
Lots of ways to tailor the game to specific needs.

I am a teacher of 24 years and mum to a child with DLD finding fun ways to practice our speech therapy homework!
