This lesson has various activities in it that promote Literacy and Chronology:

Aims of Lesson:

Must be able to identify features of the Last Supper
Should work collaboratively to chronologically sequence events leading to Jesus’ arrest
Could explain why the last supper is remembered by Christians today

(a) Starter - Layers of Inference - Blooms Taxonomy
(b) Key Word Video (embedded video) where students have to listen to a reading from Mark’s Gospel about the Last supper and identify key terms

(d) Progress Check - 5 questions to check student comprehension
(e) Police Witness statement - students imagine they are a Police Investigator interviewing one of the disciples present at the Last Supper
