Students sometimes find it difficult to differentiate between when to use the passé composé and when to use the imparfait in French. This text has been written to contrast the use of the two tenses in the context of a house fire. Students will analyse the grammar within the text as well as respond to comprehension questions in English. They will then have an opportunity to create their own story about experiencing a fire. This is an excellent tool for introducing a topic, revising the tenses or reviewing a unit of work! Answer guide included and a digital copy can be organised- please contact me if interested!
