Literacy / Creative Writing - Characters pt.1 - Creating & Developing

Hi there.

I am a children’s author and this is a video presentation that is an introduction for pupils to create ideas for a character(s) for a story.

Pupils will be introduced the notion of types of characters and the traits that they may possess.

Pupils will also be shown by the great children’s author, Lesley Parr, how she created character’s from her debut novel - The Valley of Lost Secrets.

This may provide the initial session for a creative writing/ descriptive writing exercise.
