I created these note taking sheets for 6/7 year olds. When researching habitats for a project, I wanted them to take short notes, without going crazy in their books. These helped them to stay on track and keep their notes focused depending on the box that they were working in.
In a later lesson, where we focused on an animal from their chosen habitat, they made notes in their own books, which due to the structured practice from the worksheets, were neat, detailed and on topic.
