This lesson is part of a unit of work that I have created, which you can find in my shop. However, this lesson can be a stand alone lesson too. The lesson bundle includes the planning sheet, resources and two power point slide shows.
The lesson focus is why people live near volcanoes and in earthquake prone areas. The lesson plan gives you instructions on resources that you will need, the success criteria, learning objective and key questions; as well as the lesson content. There is also space for a lesson assessment or next steps.
The lesson is planned using the National Curriculum and includes Geography skills such as map reading.
