A whole lesson (possibly 2 if turned into extended writing) looking at the reactions to Duncan’s death in Act 2 Scene 3. This scene gives a summary and function of the porter and then moves on to analysing 4 key parts of the scene. There is also a focus on analytcial writing with the opprotunity for PEA paragraph practice.

  • Accompanying PowerPoint with tasks, model paragraphs and suggested topic sentences for extended writing.
  • Suggested teacher responses offered for all questions in the notes section. Useful for new teachers or non specialists.
