Benefits to teachers:

  1. Fourteen key scenes with two practice questions for each key scene.
  2. 24 practice questions for students to produce essay plans for.
  3. Active audience pack can be used whilst students watch a film/theatre-production of Macbeth, with teacher pausing the production following each of the key scenes in order to allow for class/independent annotation of each key scene.

  • This resource was initially intended for students who had already studied Macbeth by William Shakespeare and were revising ahead of exams. However it could also be used alongside students’ first viewing of the play.

  • The theatrical production mentioned requires a Digital Theatre Plus login. However, this resource can be used with any production of Macbeth, as long as it is true to the original script.
