The process of making coins has many stages. One important step is taking a large piece of artwork and reducing it in size to fit on a small coin.
Pupils can explore this process by creating their own homemade pantograph and discovering how to reduce or increase the size of their own designs. The worksheet includes instructions for making the pantograph and information about technology used by the Royal Mint.
