Making different sounds

The pupils can have fun playing with a variety of sound making devices, including standard and non-standard musical instruments. Do the ones you have and/or add some of your own (eg. African drums of different diameters , or a taut wire or string if you have no guitar). Apart form having fun, the main scientific learning point here is to see how longer/larger objects tend to give a lower pitch sound than shorter/smaller objects.
